Bayside Escape
The beautiful bayside setting for this family retreat belies the exposure to weather that influenced the building envelope details and drew the scrutiny of the project team. The team itself benefitted from implicit trust and familiar communication developed over more than 25 years of collaborations between Shope Reno Wharton and Thoughtforms.
Living spaces that open to the bay and exterior terraces connect the family to the views and to each other. At the end of the day, the bedrooms are spaced to provide cozy privacy along with views to the horizon.
