The focus on process. We plan for months with our colleagues, construction partners, clients, and design/engineering teams. It can be a long time before what you imagine becomes a reality. But the preparation brings together the right people, at the right time, with the right knowledge to smoothly overcome challenges and do their best work. Having a role in that is my favorite part of working here and the job.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
When I was a kid, I hitchhiked with my family across the Afghanistan/Pakistan border. Long story, it was the 60’s, we were only there for two years, but it was quite the adventure for a little kid. My adventures today are a bit closer to home: kayaking in Casco Bay and getting outside with our dog.
